Justin's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

Hello everyone, it has been a while since I last updated! My apologies, I've been very busy with school lately. Those darn midterms, y'know....

Anyway, since I've been a away I've found a lot of new products and I'm going to try and update a bit more often. Today, I'm reviewing Justin's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups.

(I had the peanut butter cups with a limited edition birthday cake frappuccino. Speaking of which, it's extremely delicious and I wish it wasn't limited edition! Although I've heard that you can ask for a vanilla bean frappuccino with hazelnut syrup and end up with something similar to the birthday cake!)

I did not find this at the grocery store, I found it at Starbucks but I'm reviewing it anyway because I've never had it before! There are 2 peanut butter cups in each package, both the size of about a regular Reese's peanut butter cup, maybe a bit smaller. They are organic, according to the package which is one reason why I was drawn to them. I think they're healthier than Reese's. However, be aware that these are not vegan nor do they claim to be. I know some people can confuse "organic" with vegan but that's not the case here because these have milk in them.

The packaging is very similar to Reese's peanut butter cups. When you open it, there are two cups in a little cardboard tray. The look of it is very simple an clean, which I think is supposed to signify the organic-ness.

They are dark chocolate, meaning the chocolate flavour is more intense but less sweet. I used to really dislike dark chocolate but lately I have been waning it more than milk chocolate! I guess it's part of growing up, LOL.
Excuse the blurriness and my horrible fingernails!
The chocolate is smooth and creamy and just absolutely delicious, and when you bite into it, you are rewarded with a burst of delicious, creamy, salty peanut butter. It's a perfectly balanced little delight.
The peanut butter on the inside has a much more natural flavour than Reese's peanut butter cups. You can tell it's organic! I think these are a little thinner than Reese's though so they didn't have as much peanut butter inside which is a bit of a disappointment because it was really good peanut butter!

Is it worth the buy?

I would say, this is worth the buy. Although it is a little more expensive than Reese's (I can't remember the exact price) it is organic and much better for you. The only thing I didn't like is the small amount of peanut butter in the middle. I wish there was more, For the price i don't think there was enough. But overall, I think this is a great product and it definitely has my approval.
